Which Disney World ticket should you buy?

Buy the base ticket, one park per day, unless you have a reason not to. Walt Disney World has four theme parks: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The base ticket lets you visit one of them each day.

Pick Park Hopper if you want to switch parks on the same day. Pick Park Hopper Plus if you also want a water park. If your trip falls between 3 January and 22 May 2027, look at the 4-Day Magic Ticket first.

Not sure Disney is your park? Compare Orlando theme park tickets for Universal, SeaWorld and LEGOLAND too.

Magic Kingdom tickets

There is no separate Magic Kingdom ticket here. The base ticket covers it: on your Magic Kingdom day, you use one of your park days. The same goes for EPCOT.

What Park Hopper costs

On GetYourGuide, Park Hopper starts from €197 per person, against €119 for the base ticket. Park Hopper Plus, with water parks, starts from €381 for 4 to 10 days.

These are the lowest prices. The real price depends on your start date and the number of days. Disney’s European site says the price per day goes down as you add days.

With Park Hopper, your days do not have to be in a row, the listing says. That helps if you want a rest day between parks.

Water parks and the 4-Day Magic Ticket

Disney’s two water parks are not on the base ticket or on Park Hopper. Park Hopper Plus adds visits to Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach. You can also use a visit for mini golf or ESPN Wide World of Sports.

The water parks can close for weather, cleaning or the season, the listing says. Check before you go.

The 4-Day Magic Ticket gives one visit to each of the four parks over six days. It is for visits from 3 January to 22 May 2027 (Disney, checked 25 October 2026). It does not include Park Hopper.

What costs extra at Disney World

Parking is not included in any of these tickets. Food and drinks cost extra too. Water parks come only with the Plus and water park tickets.

So the full cost for Disney World adds hotel, food and parking to the ticket.

Kids aged 3 to 9 pay the child price, Disney says. Children under 3 need no ticket. From age 10, you pay the adult price.

Tickets, hotels and packages

We list tickets only, not hotel packages. Each ticket includes free transport between the parks and some hotels, the listings say.

To pick a base, see where to stay in Orlando. For Walt Disney World, we suggest Lake Buena Vista, the area around Disney Springs.

Getting to Disney World from the airport

An UberX from Orlando airport to Magic Kingdom costs about $40 and takes about 32 minutes, Uber’s own averages say. Those are past prices, not a promise.

Mears Connect runs a shared shuttle to Disney hotels for $16 per adult each way, plus a 6% fuel charge. LYNX bus 311 goes from the airport to Disney Springs for $2 and takes about 75 minutes.

More detail is in our guide to an Uber from Orlando airport to Disney World.

Before you buy Disney World tickets

  1. No refunds

Disney tickets are non-refundable and can’t be passed to someone else, Disney says. Only the water park and sports ticket here has free cancellation.

  2. Link your ticket

After you buy, link the ticket in My Disney Experience on Disney’s website, the listing says. Bring a passport or ID card.

  3. Lines

None of these tickets lets you skip lines. Start early, and plan the big rides for the first hours.

  4. Tax is in the price

The GetYourGuide price includes tax, the listing says. No fees are added at checkout.

  5. Check park hours

Opening hours differ by park and by day. Check the times before you go.
