What is Islands of Adventure?
Universal Islands of Adventure is one of the four parks at Universal Orlando Resort. The others are Universal Studios Florida, Epic Universe and the Volcano Bay water park.
It is home to Hogsmeade, where the Hogwarts Express leaves for Diagon Alley in Universal Studios. A Park-to-Park ticket lets you visit both parks on the same day.
Is Islands of Adventure in Tampa?
No. Islands of Adventure is in Orlando, at Universal Orlando Resort. The big theme park in Tampa is Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, about an hour from Orlando on I-4, Busch Gardens’ site says.

A one-day ticket costs from about $125 at Universal, plus tax. Universal’s prices are in US dollars and change by date.

Jurassic World VelociCoaster is the big thrill ride. The listing calls it Florida’s fastest and tallest launch coaster.
Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure and Pteranodon Flyers are also here. Express does not work on either one, Universal says, so expect the regular line.
The Hogwarts Express leaves from Hogsmeade. You can only ride it with a Park-to-Park ticket.
Islands of Adventure passes: Park-to-Park and Express
A Park-to-Park pass lets you visit Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios on the same day. Express is an add-on that gives you a shorter line.
Universal Express gives you one shorter ride per attraction. Express Unlimited lets you use the Express line as often as you like. Universal charges from about $120 per person for one park, plus tax.
