What to do at SeaWorld Orlando: rides and animals

SeaWorld Orlando mixes big roller coasters with sea animals. The listing names the Mako, Manta and Pipeline coasters. Penguin Trek is a family coaster with an icy Antarctica theme.

You can see dolphins, sea turtles, sharks and rays up close. Sesame Street Land has play areas for small kids, and you can meet the characters there.

The All-Day Dining Deal option

You can add the All-Day Dining Deal when you book. It covers food at the restaurants that take part. Without it, you buy food in the park, since you can’t bring your own.

Cheaper SeaWorld tickets

SeaWorld’s lowest one-day ticket costs about $60 on its own site (checked 25 October 2026). It is for ages 3 and up, and only for residents of the US, Puerto Rico and Canada. You must buy it online for a set date, and it can’t be refunded.

For everyone else, the GetYourGuide ticket starts from €80, with free cancellation up to 24 hours before. Official prices are in US dollars and change by date.

SeaWorld also sells multi-park tickets for SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Adventure Island. You use the later visits within 14 days. Other Orlando packages with theme park tickets combine Disney, Universal and passes for smaller sights.

Discovery Cove: snorkeling and a dolphin swim

Discovery Cove is a separate park with its own ticket. You snorkel with tropical fish and rays in the Grand Reef. Meals, snacks and drinks are included, with beer and wine for guests 21 and older.

The Signature Dolphin Swim is an option: 30 minutes with a bottlenose dolphin. You must be 6 or older, and kids aged 6 to 12 swim with an adult. Discovery Cove takes only a set number of guests a day, so book early.

Photo packages, cabanas, premium drinks and the trip from your hotel cost extra. Parking at Discovery Cove is free.

Getting to SeaWorld Orlando

SeaWorld Orlando is at 7007 Sea World Drive, Orlando. By car, take I-4 to exit 71 or 72, or the Beachline (SR 528), then follow International Drive and Central Florida Parkway.

Parking costs extra, and you can buy it ahead online. LYNX buses run from the airport to SeaWorld. One ride costs $2, and the driver gives no change.

Howl-O-Scream: SeaWorld’s Halloween nights

Howl-O-Scream is a separate night event with its own ticket. You don’t need a day ticket for it. It runs on Thursdays to Sundays, from 7 p.m. until midnight, and until 1 a.m. on Saturdays, the listing says.

It is meant for a mature audience, with violence, gore and blood. Costumes are not allowed. SeaWorld’s site says its offers run through 31 October 2026 (checked 25 October 2026).

Before you buy SeaWorld tickets

  1. Bring a card

SeaWorld is cashless: cards and phone payments only, the listing says. You can’t bring outside food or coolers.

  2. Beat the heat

Orlando’s normal high in July is 92°F (33°C), NOAA says. Go early and plan breaks in the shade.

  3. What costs extra

Parking is extra. Towels, lockers and cabanas cost extra too, and you rent them in the park.

  4. Multi-day rules

Multi-day and multi-park tickets must be used within 14 days of your first visit, the listing says.

  5. If your plans change

All three tickets here have free cancellation up to 24 hours before. SeaWorld’s own cheapest ticket can’t be refunded.
