Is it cheaper to buy Orlando theme park tickets before you go?

Yes, buy before you go. SeaWorld sells its cheapest one-day ticket online only, from about $60. It is for residents of the US, Puerto Rico and Canada, and it is not sold at the gate.

Official park prices are in US dollars and change by date. At Universal, a one-day ticket for one park starts from about $125, plus tax. Disney’s prices depend on your start date and the number of days, Disney’s European site says.

Buying ahead also means a fixed plan. The Disney and Universal tickets here are non-refundable. The SeaWorld, LEGOLAND and pass tickets can be canceled up to 24 hours before.

How do you buy Orlando theme park tickets?

You can buy from each park’s own website or from a seller like GetYourGuide. The Disney, Universal, SeaWorld and LEGOLAND tickets we list are marked “official ticket” on GetYourGuide.

After you buy a Disney ticket, you link it in My Disney Experience, the listing says. For the Universal ticket, the voucher in your email tells you how to get your ticket.

GetYourGuide shows prices in euros or your own currency. The parks’ own sites show US dollars, so compare with care.

Which Orlando park should you buy for: Disney, Universal, SeaWorld or LEGOLAND?

Pick the park by who is in your group. Here is our short take on each one.

  • Walt Disney World: four theme parks, for Disney fans of every age. From €119 a day on GetYourGuide.
  • Universal Orlando: four parks, including Epic Universe and the Harry Potter areas, for thrill rides. From €173 on GetYourGuide.
  • SeaWorld Orlando: roller coasters plus dolphins, penguins and sea turtles. From €80 on GetYourGuide.
  • LEGOLAND Florida: rides and building for kids, in Winter Haven, about 45 minutes from the Orlando parks, LEGOLAND says. From €66 on GetYourGuide.

Disney World tickets: base ticket, Park Hopper and water parks

Disney’s base ticket gives one park per day. Park Hopper lets you visit more than one park on the same day. Park Hopper Plus adds visits to a water park or mini golf.

Kids aged 3 to 9 pay the child price, and children under 3 need no ticket, Disney says. Disney tickets are non-refundable and can’t be passed to someone else.

On GetYourGuide, Park Hopper starts from €197 per person. Parking is extra on every Disney ticket.

Universal Orlando tickets, including Super Nintendo World (Mario) and park-to-park options

Universal Orlando has four parks: Epic Universe, Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure and the Volcano Bay water park. A base ticket gives one park per day. A Park-to-Park ticket lets you switch parks on the same day.

Super Nintendo World is inside Epic Universe. A one-day Epic Universe ticket starts from about $140 at Universal, plus tax. The price changes by date.

You need Park-to-Park to ride the Hogwarts Express between the two Harry Potter areas. Volcano Bay is closed from 26 October 2026 until spring 2027 (Universal, checked 25 October 2026).

The Universal ticket on GetYourGuide is not for residents of the US, UK or Canada. If you live there, buy from Universal directly. To compare all tickets for Universal Studios Orlando, see our Universal guide.

SeaWorld, LEGOLAND and other single-park tickets

SeaWorld’s multi-park tickets cover SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Adventure Island. You use the later visits within 14 days of the first.

The LEGOLAND Florida ticket includes SEA LIFE Florida, the aquarium at the same resort. You must use LEGOLAND, its water park and SEA LIFE Florida on the same day.

SEA LIFE Orlando, on International Drive, is a separate aquarium. SEA LIFE sells its own tickets online from about $30.

Attraction passes (Go City, Essentials): when a pass beats separate tickets

A pass makes sense if you plan to see several smaller attractions. If you only want one or two big parks, buy those tickets alone.

The Go City Explorer Pass covers 2 to 5 attractions in 30 days, from €57. The Essentials Pass covers three, from €124. The All-Inclusive Pass covers more than 25 attractions over 2, 3 or 5 days, from €213.

The pass listings name attractions like The Orlando Eye, WonderWorks, SEA LIFE, Kennedy Space Center and LEGOLAND. They do not name Disney or Universal. Check the list in the Go City app before you buy.

Popular attractions on a pass need a reservation, the Go City listing says. Book those early.

How to save on Orlando theme park tickets

Buy more days. At Universal, the price per day goes down as you add days, from 2 to 7. Disney’s European site says the same for Disney.

Look at the special tickets. Universal’s Special 3-Day ticket, one day each at its three theme parks, starts from about $297 plus tax, with blockout dates. Disney’s 4-Day Magic Ticket covers visits from 3 January to 22 May 2027 (both checked 25 October 2026).

If you live in the US, Puerto Rico or Canada, SeaWorld’s online-only ticket starts from about $60. On GetYourGuide, the cheapest choice here is the Go City Explorer Pass, from €57.

Reservations, skip-the-line add-ons and when to visit

Universal Express is an add-on that gives you a shorter line. You still need a park ticket. At Universal, Express costs from about $120 to $320 per person for one park, plus tax, by date.

Universal Express Unlimited works at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure only. Guests of three Universal hotels get it free: Loews Portofino Bay, Hard Rock Hotel and Loews Royal Pacific.

In the fall, Universal also runs Halloween Horror Nights (HHN), a separate night event. HHN 2026 runs on select nights until 1 November 2026 (checked 25 October 2026). See Universal Orlando HHN tickets.

Summer is hot. Orlando’s normal high in July is 92°F (33°C), NOAA says. Storms often come in the afternoon from May to October, the National Weather Service says, so do outdoor rides early.

Before you buy Orlando park tickets

  1. Refunds

The SeaWorld, LEGOLAND, Go City and Essentials tickets give a full refund if you cancel 24 hours before. The Disney, Universal and All-Inclusive tickets are non-refundable.

  2. Where you live

The Universal ticket here is not for residents of the US, UK or Canada. If you live there, buy from Universal directly.

  3. Parking is extra

No ticket here includes parking. The Universal listing gives $30 for a regular car.

  4. Pay by card

SeaWorld is cashless: cards and phone payments only, the listing says. You can’t bring your own food or coolers.

  5. Dates change things

Prices, hours and closures change by date. Volcano Bay is closed from 26 October 2026 until spring 2027.
